Filter Optix AS (“Filter Optix”, the “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) provides this website (the “Site”), including all information, tools, products, and services available from this Site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
By visiting our Site and/or purchasing something from us, or otherwise using the Site, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms, conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Site and our Service, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
You are granted a limited access and license to use the Service, or any of its features, for personal use only, upon accepting these Terms of Service and all the following Terms and Conditions included in the Terms of Service.
Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our Service, or any of its features. By accessing or using any part of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the Terms and Conditions of this agreement, then you may not access our Service, purchase any products or use any of its features.
Your submission of Personal Information by using our Service is governed by and subject to our Privacy Policy.
Shipping and delivery times
We ship to every country in the world. Orders with non-prescription or reading glasses ship within 2-3 business days, while orders with prescription glasses ship within 3-4 business days. The delivery time will generally take up to 3-5 business days after your order has shipped. Please note that delivery times are only estimates and can be longer in some situations. We do not take or accept any responsibilities or liability for any delay in shipments for any reasons.
Cancelling or modifying orders
You can cancel your order up to an hour after it was placed. If your order has not yet shipped then we will try to meet your cancellation request. However, if we are not able to cancel your order in time you can return your order in accordance to our Refund Policy. Changes to your address can be made up until your order has shipped.
Payment
You understand that your content (not including credit card information), may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks; and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. Credit card information is always encrypted during transfer over networks. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and Apple Pay are all accepted payment methods when ordering from filteroptix.com.
Customs duties, taxes/VAT or other fees
You may have to pay customs duties, taxes (VAT) and fees upon import and delivery of your order. For more information, please check with your local post office. Kindly note that the price at checkout does not include any additional costs due to importation of the goods. We do not take any responsibility for such costs. These costs are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Our Norwegian customers will not have to pay any duties or taxes.
Risk of loss or damage
We make no guarantees in case of damage, delay, or partial loss to the items in your order during transit. Please inspect your order upon receival and contact us as soon as possible if any item in your order is wrong or damaged. Risk of loss and title for any purchase orders pass to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier.
Returns and refund
We accept returns for any order within 30 calendar days after the delivery of your order. You will have to request a return by contacting us no later than 30 days after delivery. Shipping costs for returns or exchanges back to us inNorway will have to be paid by you, the customer, and these costs are non-refundable. We recommend that you select a shipping method that allows for tracking, as we cannot take any responsibility for any theft or loss during transport.
We offer a full refund* within 30 calendar days after your order has been delivered. To be eligible for a full refund, the product(s) have to be in original condition and free of all damage. This also applies to all other items included in your order, such as packaging, case and cloth. If the items are not in a satisfactory condition or some items are missing, then fees may be applicable and deducted from your refund. The amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
*Customs duties and taxes upon importation to your country are non-refundable. Due to importation duties and taxes when returning the products to Norway our non-Norwegian customers may also be deducted such costs from their refund. Any shipping costs paid at checkout will not be refunded. Returned glasses are also subject to different restocking fees (see our Refund Policy) which will be deducted from your refund.
Warranty
All Filter Optix glasses come with a two (2) year warranty, effective from the date of delivery of the Filter Optix products, against manufacturing defects. The warranty covers only defects in materials, workmanship, coatings, or lens colour within the warranty coverage period. Please inspect your order upon delivery for any defects. Contact us as soon as possible after discovering any defects.
Other
We may modify, decline or cancel any order, for any or no reason. If we decide to cancel your order, at any time, it will be subject to a refund. We will try to contact you as soon as possible after declining or cancelling your purchase order.

We are not responsible should you enter any incorrect or inaccurate destination information (such as shipping address) in your order. It is also your responsibility to pick up your shipment safely and within a certain time in accordance with your local post office’s rules.

All images, text, designs, illustrations, icons, photographs, videos, HTML codes (or any code), or any other material or content on this Site and our Service are owned by Filter Optix and/or our licensors, suppliers, partners, and affiliates.
You agree not to reproduce, derive, modify, imitating, mirror, duplicate, copy, distribute, perform, download, publish, display, post, transmit, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, use of the Service, or access to the Service or any contact on the Service through which the Service is provided, without prior express written permission by us.

Any (brand) name or trade name including the iconic “Filter Optix” name, our logos and slogans, custom graphics and scripts, colour combinations and look, all product names, and any branding or design, related to Filter Optix are protected trademarks. Any use of our trademarks without our prior express written consent, is strictly prohibited and considered illegal by Norwegian trademark and copyright laws.
All other trademarks, product names and company names or logos used in the Service are the property of their respective owners. You may not use any trademarks, trade dress, service marks or intellectual property of our licensors, suppliers, partners, and affiliates without our express written consent.
By using our Service, you agree that you will comply with our prohibitions, in addition to other content or material set forth in the Terms of Service, including but not limited to:
